Faguwa Utsav

Every year on the eve of Holi, Festival of Colors, tribals in Satpuda Ranges celebrate a festival called Faguwa Utsav, it is as vibrant expression of tribal heritage and unity.

This traditional celebration takes place in a tribal village, on the first Sunday after Holi. The celebration is facilitated & organized by VSS

Tribal men, women, and youth gather in their traditional attire, carrying Dhols, flutes, and folk instruments.

Villagers perform indigenous folk dances, sing traditional songs, and showcase their community spirit.

The festival ends with a communal meal, strengthening ties and reinforcing cultural roots.
